Too Much Negativity

I've been on Twitter for about two years now and I aboslutely love it, I've been able to meet and get to know so many great people and win some pretty awesome prizes. Lately though there's been a lot of negativity and hate being directed towards not just me but a lot of other people. I've been harrased and attacked by a couple of people lately and that has never happened to me before. Until a few months ago I had never had anyone be mean to me on there but now it seems like there's people hating on me every other day. I see so many other people than just me being treated just as bad as I've been. I have never went searching for people to say mean things to or attack people like people have done me. I'm not a mean or hateful person, I don't appreciate people saying the negative things they have to me when they know nothing at all about me. I'm on Twitter to talk to people who are nice, fun to talk to and give support to me when I might need it.

I speak my mind on Twitter and I get critized for it, I thought Twitter was for expressing how you feel. I'm very passionate about Kyle Busch and there are a lot of people who hate him and don't like the things that I have to say when it comes to him. If you don't like what I have to say then you don't have to follow me, I'm not standing beside you pointing a gun at your head forcing you to follow me. I realize not everyone likes Kyle but you don't have to come and personally attack me because I'm a fan of his. I don't go and attack you because of the driver you like, don't come and do it to me. We can have a civil discussion about it but when personal attacks start happening that's just out of line. There's no need for such hateful people on twitter and I'm over it, say one mean thing to me and you're blocked. If you're that miserable in your life that you need to go and say mean and hurtful things to people you don't even know then stay off of Twitter. People want to go on Twitter and talk to others who share the same interests and are enjoyable to talk to, not to be hated on. I want Twitter to be less about people being hateful and more about people enjoying the fact that they get to know so many new people who, if it hadn't been for Twitter, wouldn't have been possible. Twitter has brought so many good things to people, don't turn it into a place where you go to get your fill of hating on people at.
